Snapple
Agency: Kirshenbaum Bond and Partners
Everbeta was tapped by the cutting-edge NYC agency Kirshenbaum Bond and Partners, working with their Media Director and creative team to produce the launch website for the agency, kb.com. This process involved educating the KBP staff on the limitations of the medium and co-ordinating all of the content which needed to be processed. Duties included screendesign, HTML coding and imaging, as well as candid photography of the agency staff. Once the agency site launched, KBP’s Snapple account team hired Everbeta to produce Snapple.com for the beverage brand’s launch onto the internet. Working with the account’s creative director, art director, and designers, Everbeta produced this highly-visible site, which recieved millions of visitors within its first year, thanks to the URL being printed on every Snapple bottle sold globally.
Popular Science, GOLF Magazine, SKI Magazine, Skiing Magazine
Client: Times Mirror Magazines
Everbeta was contracted by Times Mirror Magazines to redesign Skinet, a joint venture betweeen Ski and Skiing magazines. This project included the site’s interface design and programming. When this project was complete, TMM staff contracted Everbeta to design and program GOLFonline, the launch site for GOLF Magazine. Working with the magazine’s writers and editors, an online vehicle was developed which not only reflected the identity of the print publication, but was one of the first media sites to become financially self-sustaining via online advertising in the form of banners and special promotions. Everbeta assisted TMM staff at athe Golf Merchandising Show in Orlando, where live updates to the website were made from the showroom floor. Subsequently, Everbeta provided on-site training for an online editor so the magazine staff could update the site content themselves. Soon after GOLFonline launched, Popular Science, another Times Mirror Magazines property, wanted a website of their own, and Everbeta worked directly with the magazine’s Editor, as well as TMM’s Director of Multimedia and their VP of Technology in designing the interface for the launch of PopSci.com, as well as full site programming through launch.
Merrill Lynch
Agency: Channell Communications
Everbeta was contracted by Manhattan-based Channell Communications to be part of the Merrill Lynch intranet team. This team’s task was to build the company-wide intranet encompassing all of the internal information for the financial services giant, which was, at the time, the world’s largest investment firm. Working with a team of five designers, Merrill Lynch’s global intranet was created, opening for company use in 1999. Everbeta was responsible for the production of all graphics and code for multiple ‘subsites’, including Executive Management, The Merrill Lynch Video Network, and Merrill Lynch Brand Usage Guidelines.
Panasonic, Nautica, IBM
Agency: Renegade Marketing Group
Renegade Marketing Group was created by the advertising giant Dentsu as its North American guerrilla advertising and interactive multimedia component. Everbeta was initially contracted to work on their Panasonic Consumer Electronics account, creating Photoshop and Flash content used within Panasonic.com. Duties for this job included the photographic direction, pencil roughs, and Photoshop compositing. After the launch of this material on Panasonic.com, Everbeta was brought on to provide technical consultation for Nauticakids.com, working with an art director and animation team. The site won a Macromedia Flash Site of the Day award shortly after its launch. Through Renegade, Everbeta also worked on internal marketing materials for IBM, creating Flash media which was distributed to all IBM employees.
