Lou Ann Walker
Lou Ann Walker is a writer, editor and professor. The author’s memoir about growing up with deaf parents, A Loss for Words: The Story of Deafness in a Family, won a Christopher Award and was read into the congressional record. Walker has written for The New York Times, The New York Times Magazine, O, The Oprah Magazine, Allure, Esquire, The Chicago Sun-Times, Parade, as well as for many other magazines and newspapers.

Julie Sheehan
Julie Sheehan’s three poetry collections are Bar Book (W.W. Norton, 2010), Orient Point (Norton, 2006) and Thaw (Fordham, 2001). A Whiting Writers’ Award winner, her poems have appeared in many magazines and anthologies, including The New Yorker and Best American Poetry. She teaches in and directs the MFA program at Stony Brook Southampton.

Helen Harrison
Helen Harrison is the director of the Pollock-Krasner House and Study Center in East Hampton, New York. The museum, a National Historic Landmark, is the former home and studio of Jackson Pollock (1912-1956) and Lee Krasner (1908-1984), two of the foremost Abstract Expressionist painters. Her monograph on Jackson Pollock was published by Phaedon in 2014.
